Efektivitas Play-Based Learning Menggunakan Video Interaktif dalam Meningkatkan Kesadaran Lingkungan Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas play-based learning menggunakan video interaktif yang dipadukan dengan praktik lingkungan hands-on dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran lingkungan pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen dengan pendekatan pretest–posttest dan kelompok kontrol. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 30 anak usia 5–6 tahun yang dibagi ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, masing-masing berjumlah 15 anak, pada lembaga PAUD di wilayah DKI Jakarta. Kelompok eksperimen memperoleh pembelajaran berbasis bermain dengan dukungan video interaktif bertema lingkungan yang dilanjutkan dengan aktivitas praktik langsung, sedangkan kelompok kontrol mengikuti pembelajaran berbasis bermain konvensional tanpa penggunaan video interaktif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi terstruktur dengan menggunakan indikator kesadaran lingkungan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial, meliputi uji t independent samples, uji t paired samples, serta analisis N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan kesadaran lingkungan yang secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol (p < 0,001). Nilai N-Gain kelompok eksperimen berada pada kategori tinggi (0,80), sedangkan kelompok kontrol berada pada kategori sedang (0,42). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi video interaktif dengan pembelajaran berbasis bermain dan praktik langsung efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan pada anak usia dini.
