Miopia merupakan salah satu gangguan penglihatan dengan prevalensi yang tinggi di Indonesia. Anak penyandang miopia memiliki potensi dalam pendidikan yang terlihat dari tingkat kecerdasan yang lebih tinggi dari anak dengan penglihatan normal. Meskipun demikian, anak penyandang miopia memiliki kesulitan sendiri dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor penyebab miopia pada anak kembar penyandang low vision. Penelitian dilakukan dengan wawancara kepada ibu dari anak kembar penyandang low vision. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa myopia pada anak kembar terjadi karena faktor genetik dan faktor pre natal. Miopia pada anak kembar sendiri mengganggu aktivitas belajar meskipun kedua anak kembar memiliki tingkat intelegensi rata-rata. Peneliti berharap hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi salah satu acuan untuk pembuatan kurikulum pembelajaran yang cocok bagi anak penyandang low vision. Dengan demikian, sistem pendidikan inklusi di Indonesia berjalan efektif sesuai tujuannya.
